Living in fear is no good to anyone.

I decided to move my mouse to the left of the keyboard. It's frustrating, but I'm already much better at it than I was a few hours ago.

So, people want info about why I posted the poll the other day. A few days ago, I was having a discussion with someone and "lasting" came up. I said that ~45 minutes was usual for me. The person was shocked at my claim of such a long time as being usual (their experience was shorter). I decided that by polling all of you, we could all learn from it. The "average" question applied to the specific conversation I mentioned. The "shortest" and "longest" just seemed to follow from that.

The FCC has declared the word bullshit to be "presumptively profane."

On the way in, Pike's Peak and the nearby mountians looked gorgeous with the sun and snow the way they were.

A couple of weeks ago I felt a weird hard spot on the inside of the gum just behind my last, bottom right molar. I couldn't see it in the mirror so I had lalabob11 look at it. She said it was probably part of the root of that molar and my gum had eroded away. That had me worried, so I have brushed more carefully and with less pressure since then.

I just ate a burrito at the airport. After that, the hard spot felt floppy, kinda like I remember loose baby teeth feeling like just before they came out. After I got to my gate and sat down, I felt it with my finger. It came right out with my nail. It is a chunk of tooth. I assume it is a missed chunk of the impacted wisdom tooth that was removed from there ~6 years ago. There was no bleeding when it came out, but the spot where it was is now a little soft and tender. I took a photo of the bit of tooth that I'll post when I have a chance (probably not until I get back to NM on Wednesday).

For various reasons, only partly related to plumbing, there will be no movie night this week. Next week is also up in the air. There is a gaming night at king_luddite's this Saturday though, if you still need something social to do this weekend.

The plumbers did a bunch of stuff today. We now have cold water and working drains in the whole house, but hot water nowhere. I'll post more photos tomorrow.

I'm really depressed/moody and I don't know why. I felt pretty good most of the day, but got depressed into the evening. I think it may partly be due to an allergic reaction I seem to be having to something as yet unidentified which makes me break out in a rash every day around 1700 and is gone by morning.

I sometimes want to post inane things about stuff like bodily functions. I know you don't all want to see that. I'm gonna create a TMI filter for that sort of thing. Only I'll be able to see your answers, so don't feel weird about other people knowing that you want to read these sorts of things.
